To get one thing out of the way first – yes, I know that this particular pump is quite familiar-looking. I wouldn’t necessarily say that it’s a rip-off of a similar product, but the Tracey Cox people were probably more than a bit inspired by the Fleshlight team’s ideas.

Still, I am writing a full Tracey Cox Edge Pump review because it’s an excellent, affordable product with some extra features that might surprise you. So, let’s get right to it, shall we?

Wait, Who’s Tracey Cox?

The lovely Tracey is a UK-based novelist, columnist, and all-around sex expert. She’s one of those people who have long been fans of the sex-positive movement. She’s a great advocate not only for healthy relationships towards sex but also the sex toy industry. That isn’t surprising given how much educational capacity and health benefits the industry has. Tracey is very vocal about using that particular power for good.

All in all, Tracey Cox is a wonderful lady. I’ve been a fan for quite a while, which is why I jumped at the opportunity to write a Tracey Cox Edge Pump review.

OK, And What Exactly Is the Tracey Cox Edge Pump?

At first glance, you may think that this is just a regular penis pump. There’s nothing special about it, right? Sure, it’s automatic, so you don’t have to worry about overpumping or keeping an eye on an analog gauge, but it looks like your run-of-the-mill penis pump.

If you’re looking for a way to get stronger and harder erections that actually last throughout the entirety of getting down and dirty, then perhaps Tracey Cox’s machine is just what you’re looking for. I fully realize there are plenty of options on the market and that deciding on a penis pump is almost as complicated as determining how, when, and with what to buy a house.

OK, that might be just me being a bit over the top in the drama department. However, I stand by the statement that a good penis pump is hard to find.

When you’re looking for a pump, you want it to be:

  • Reliable
  • Sturdy
  • Gentle (so it doesn’t suck your balls in)
  • But powerful (so it actually does its job)

Tracey Cox Edge Pump checks out all these boxes. The plastic cylinder is sturdy, and the donut sleeve latches on like its little rubber life depends on it. However, it also doesn’t snag or suck on your skin (and the accompanying bald men, if you know what I mean).

The main goal of this pump is to improve your stamina and make your erections stronger. The company claims they can increase the length and girth of your “Sargent General” by 30%. That’s an impressive claim, but, as always, Mark simply had to put it to the test. Hence my Tracey Cox Edge Pump review.

OK, But Why Pick That One And Not Something Else?

If you’re looking for a straightforward answer, I’ll give it to you:

  1. This particular pump has three different modes of suction.
  2. It also has two interchangeable attachments, one of which you can use for the big finish.

Now, neither of these two features are something I come across often. Penis pumps usually follow one simple rule: get the job done. The only goal is for the Pocket rocket to skyrockets, and that’s generally all they do.

Therefore, Tracey Cox really did see a hole in the market and did her best to fill it. As far as automatic air pumps go, this one is a thing of beauty. Add to that the versatility it offers, and you got a great product on your hands. And that’s why you should pick this one (if it tickles your fancy, of course).

The Design

Design-wise, this pump is pretty good-looking. It has a transparent plastic cylinder with engraved markings on it, which I appreciate. Some pumps have the size markings painted on or even come with stickers. Those either wash or rub off way too quickly for my liking, so all penis pumps I own (and love) come with engraved markings.

The cylinder is also quite sturdy and, although it’s thin and not too heavy, it doesn’t look (or feel) low-quality. Along with the cylinder comes a black motor housing with a simple yet elegant design and a sleeve at the very bottom.

As I already mentioned, there are two interchangeable sleeves. One is matte black, and the other is crisp white. It’s good that they are so distinct, considering that they have two completely different purposes.

Some would call this design simple. However, I disagree. There are plenty of pumps out there that look as if they’ll trap your dick and never let it go. There are also plenty of colorful ones that have features up the wazoo.

Now, I’m not saying those pumps are bad or won’t do their job. However, in order to have a fully functional pump that’s safe to use, one that looks like the Tracey Cox Edge Pump (and does the same things) is probably your best bet.

The Specs

Aside from being USB rechargeable, this pump also has another feature that I highly appreciate. Although I can’t exactly tell you the precise numbers, the pump makes ridiculously low noise. Like, I’ve tried many pumps during my lifetime, and this one might be the quietest.

Granted, automatic penis pumps don’t generally make a lot of noise. However, if I didn’t feel the grip on my Dong, I would have thought I got a faulty pump. That’s how little noise there was. There’s usually at least a bit of a whoosh sound or a few wrooms.

Tracey Cox’s pump makes none of those, and I was very pleased with that (once I figured out that that’s what’s happening). Anyway, now we can get to the nitty-gritty of my Tracey Cox Edge Pump review and talk about the specs.

The Size

This pump is by no means small, but it’s not the biggest one I have in my arsenal. The overall size of the pump is around 13 inches. That includes both the sleeve and the motor base. The insertable length is a bit under 7.5 inches. When it comes to the circumference, the pump has around 8.5 inches. That’s more than enough room for all of us (provided we go in one at a time, of course), but I won’t lie; it could be a bit wider.

So, overall, the pump isn’t as big as it could be, but it’s big enough that most of us will feel comfortable using and holding it.

The Features

When it comes to the features, I already mentioned a few. However, there are others that I’m yet to reveal in my Tracey Cox Edge Pump review. Aside from the obvious ones (like the fact the pump has automatic suction and that it’s USB rechargeable), I’d like to highlight a few that you might not know about:

  • Three levels of suction
  • Two sleeves
  • App compatible
  • A guide on achieving a rock-hard erection and a 30% larger penis (when erect) written by Tracey herself.

The Suction

As I already mentioned before, one of Tracey Cox Edge Pump’s best features is that it introduced a bit of variety. Usually, with air pumps, you can’t control the pressure. You push the button for automatic suction, and the pump does the rest.

This is easy and straightforward. However, not all people enjoy that particular feature. Some of us are more or less sensitive and need more or less pressure. Not to mention, there’s a wide variety of levels of ED. Some men only need a bit of encouragement to get their stiffy, while others need more.

That’s why the three suction levels (gentle, medium, and strong) are a godsend. The highest setting might be too high for most people as it definitely felt like it was trying to suck in my soul along with my penis. I didn’t particularly mind that, but given that some of you might, maybe try at the lowest setting and work your way up? Penis pumps are supposed to be intense but not painful.

The pump also has a pause feature. This is usually something that all beginners should look for. It’s like a quick-release valve that will quickly (and safely) release all the pressure from the tube. If you overpump or just feel uncomfortable, it’s good to know there’s a way out, right?

The Sleeves

There are two different sleeves. The black one has a 1.4-inch opening, and it’s the general penis pump donut sleeve. Aside from the fact that it’s silicone (THANK YOU, Tracey Cox, for not going the TPE route), it’s really not that special. It won’t snag or give you an impromptu bikini wax, so it’s overall a solid sleeve.

I wish it were a bit less rigid, though. It creates an excellent seal with your pelvic region, so I can’t really complain. Still, it could be softer.

Luckily, the second sleeve is much better in that regard. It is white, supple, and has a 0.25-inch opening. It also has quite a bit of texture to it, given that it’s the “pleasure” sleeve that you can use for stroking the willy.

The opening of the second sleeve is stretchy, and it grips and strokes the Slender Beast in all the right ways. It’s a shame it’s so short because I can see myself running to buy a full-length masturbator like that.

The App

One of the bonus features of this pump is that you can connect it to a smart device and install the Tracey Cox EDGE Stamina App. The app can time your sessions, offer expert advice on pumping and lasting longer in bed, and it can help you with your pumping regime.

How To Use Tracey’s Cock… I Mean Tracey Cox’s Pump

Given its simple design, using the Tracey Cox Edge Pump is a piece of cake. As with any other pump, you’ll have to follow a specific step-by-step guide. Don’t worry; it’s not extensive.

  1. Put the sleeve you want to use on the pump.
  2. Apply plenty of lube.
  3. Place your (flaccid) penis at the opening and push it through the sleeve hole.
  4. Make sure to pull your crown jewels or any stray hairs away from the pump’s opening.
  5. Turn the machine on.
  6. Make sure the sleeve creates a tight seal with your body. If it doesn’t, start again.
  7. Pick a suction mode.
  8. Don’t overpump and never pump for more than 20-30 minutes at a time.
  9. If you pump for 30 minutes, make sure to take breaks every ten minutes or so.

Cleaning

Cleaning is straightforward, and I was actually quite looking forward to it. I know that makes me sound weird, but I just love silicone toys! I know that I can clean and even sterilize them completely, so the cleanup process makes me giddy and happy. It’s my thing; don’t judge.

Anyway, to clean the toy, all you have to do is remove the donut sleeve and disconnect the tube from the motor. Then you can wash both with warm water and soap. Make sure everything is completely dry before connecting the pieces back together.

Where Tracey Failed To Shine

Of course, no one, not even the world-famous Tracey Cox, can make a perfect toy. Therefore, as you probably expected from my Tracey Cox Edge Pump review, it’s time to go over the flaws.

Granted, there aren’t many of them. If there were, I wouldn’t even be presenting this product to you. I’d simply chuck it in the bin and call it a day. Still, I can’t help but mention the following:

  • The pump could be bigger. I’m talking both about the length and the circumference of the cylinder. Not everyone will fit into it.
  • The pleasure sleeve is fantastic. However, it’s also relatively short, so it can only semi-achieve what it’s meant to do.
  • The power button has a small bug. When you press it to turn the pump off, it first jumps to the next suction setting and only powers off the pump after a few seconds.
  • There were no extras in the package. Sure, it’s nice to have a guide on penis pumping written by Tracey, but some lube or even a cleaning product would have been nice.

A Few Parting Words

Well, I tried to give you everything I had about this male sex toy – the good, the amazing, and the somewhat bad. Hopefully, I managed to fully convey the level of love I have for this particular pump. If my Tracey Cox Edge Pump review helped you decide to buy this pump, let me know. I’d love to hear all about your experience!
