Historically, society associates the term “cheating” with men for the most part. In recent years, this bias has evened out a bit though. It is said that men cheat for physical reasons and women based on emotional reasons. Let’s take a look at the top 5 reasons women cheat based on research and online polls.
Lack Of Passion
Women need romance and passion. A guy can be respectful, honest and kind but if he doesn’t bring the “heat” in the bedroom, sooner or later the relationship will end or she will go elsewhere even though she does not want to hurt his feelings. Women will say otherwise but on the inside they know I am right.
Because Absence Doesn’t Make The Heart Grow Fonder
This reason relates more to long distance relationships. Sorry but they don’t work. At first, you stay in touch and try to schedule visits and so forth but frustration will set in at some point. She may have genuine feelings but if you do not see each other, she will fulfill those needs elsewhere. It may be months or years into the relationship but eventually it will occur. If both parties love each other that much, someone needs to make a move!
To End A Bad Relationship
Some women (usually early in their dating life) do not really know how to get out of a relationship they are not happy in. Maybe they tried to communicate but for whatever reason the point never got across. Therefore, as a way out, they act out in a reckless way in hopes their boyfriend will break up with them. Men are guilty of this as well. It’s childish and most of us handle breakups in a more mature manner as we get older.
Insecurities
Insecurity can be a destructive force in any relationship. Insecurities spawn feelings of jealousy, resentment, arguments based on nothing and low self esteem. To combat this, the thinking is that she will cheat on him before he cheats on her due to the fact she thinks so low of herself.
Revenge
Women sometimes cheat to simply get back at their partner for a wrong doing on their part. Two wrongs do not make a right but hey… it happens.
