What Did You Do To Your Hair
Women love their hair! Imply anything that isn’t a compliment and expect drama coming your way. LOL,have you ever thought about how many times a day a woman looks, brushes and fixes her hair? Dating advice 101: Pay her a compliment or don’t say anything at all about her hair.
Do You Really Think You Should Be Eating That?
Ah… this one can lead to questions of attraction where she thinks you are saying she is fat or needs to work out. In actuality, you are probably just trying to help her eat healthy (which she probably asked you to do the week prior). Instead, you will be told that she worked out hard all week, “It’s just one time”, “I can cheat sometimes”, “I will work extra hard tomorrow” and/or “shut up!”. Be careful when it comes to telling them what to put in their mouths.
You’re Acting Just Like Your Mother / My Mother / My Ex
All three are problematic. An ex should be mentioned sparingly and never in comparison to your current apple of your eye. Why would you want to remind them of a person you broke up with? Also, why are you thinking about her? You see the slippery slope. Conjuring an image of your mother can be equally grating. Women want you to treat them as individuals and not as mere products of your upbringing.
It’s Up To You
I am guilty of this one. I am very easy going and a lot of times, it doesn’t matter to me what we do or what decision is made. However, you are the “man” so take over at times and exude some of that testosterone flowing through your veins. The key word there is “at times” so don’t over do it and be a prick.
“I Love You” (During An Argument)
You are in an intense argument and want it to end! You could care less what is being brought up and argued at this point so, to make it go away, you throw a couple “I love you” phrases out there. From a woman’s perspective, you are trying to shut her up and are being a sarcastic douche bagalow. “I love you” only matters to them in certain situations and during an argument when you want her to shut up is not one of them.
Do You Like Me?
If you have to ask this, just move on. You should know if a girl likes you or not based on the vibe she is giving off. If you are unsure, ask in a clever way or drop hints here and there. “Do you like me?” is for insecure, worry-some guys.
You’re Being Emotional
In the heat of the moment this may be true. But unless you want your partner to become more emotional or get angry, you’re better off keeping this observation to yourself. Save the usual follow-up question – ”Is it that time of month?” – to yourself as well. Danger zone here guys!
Can I Kiss You
Take control and make your move. Don’t be afraid of rejection. If you ask, it takes the fun and excitement out of that first kiss. If you really want to do it, then do it. It’s that simple.
Relax
I plead guilty once again on this one! I use the word “relax” often even when I know it will slightly piss off the opposite sex. It’s a way to diffuse a situation but it does come off as “You are freaking out so calm down psycho chick”. Only time you should tell a woman to relax is when you are giving her a full body massage.
Nothing
Um, guilty of this one too. Sometimes we get bothered and don’t want to get into it so we say “nothing” when asked what is wrong. We want it to go away but women thrive on communication so it’s easier to just spit it out. The issue will go away faster that way plus you are communicating with her which is a plus in her book.
